Dr. Nick Kochmanski, an assistant professor in the Department of Teacher Education and Higher Education, recently appeared on the National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics “Leading with Leaders: Everyone Belongs in Mathematics” podcast. The episode featured the authors of three papers which were featured in the winter issue of the Journal of Mathematics Education Leadership.

Kochmanski partnered with UNCG’s Dr. Holt Wilson, UNC Wilmington’s Dr. Ginger Rhodes, and UNCG doctoral student Joshua Recore to author the paper “District Leaders in Support of Coaches.” He discussed not only the paper and his research, but his views of math education research and his work with math coaches.
