Mental Health Support

Suicide Prevention
If you or someone you know are in distress, chat with, call at 800.273.8255, or text the National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline 988. Their website includes prevention and crisis resources. If you’re thinking about suicide, are worried about a friend, or need emotional support. Also offers ayuda en español.
Question. Persuade. Refer. or QPR is a suicide prevention training designed to increase your ability to recognize suicidal thoughts and behaviors and to refer the person at-risk to a professional resource.

Emergency Funds
The Student Assistance Fund for Emergencies (SAFE) is a non-cash emergency fund initiative set up to provide one-time emergency assistance to matriculating students with short-term unexpected and or unavoidable financial emergencies.
