Featured Image for Dual Enrollment

Dual enrollment between UNCG and local school district is conducted through the TEACH Program. The TEACH program will support and prepare high school students for the profession of teaching beyond traditional pathways. After completing the TEACH program, students will be prepared to be highly effective teachers in their school district and leaders in the profession. Selected students will enroll in post-secondary coursework, simultaneously earning high school and college credit. After high school graduation, students can continue and complete a Bachelor’s degree and receive a teaching license at UNCG. In our current partnership with Asheboro City Schools and Randolph Community College (RCC), the TEACH program of student allows students to complete prerequisite university coursework for teacher education while earning credits toward an associate’s degree from RCC.
