Congratulations to a Department of Counseling and Educational Development (CED) research team consisting of Dr. Christian Chan, alum Dr. Anandavalli, doctoral student Saron Fantahun, and doctoral student Yu Pan, who received a research grant from Chi Sigma Iota for their proposal entitled “Community Cultural Wealth for Supervisees who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color: A Critical Narrative Inquiry”.

Drawing upon tenets of critical race theory and critical narrative inquiry methodological framework, their study is designed to illuminate how BIPOC supervisees leverage their experiences of community cultural wealth in supervision.
