Big Ideas in Education Innovation Grant
These competitive internal innovation grants are open to all full‑time School of Education faculty. Awards of up to $5,000 support bold, solution‑focused projects with strong potential to lead to external funding and broader impact. Funds may be used for pilot testing, prototype development, user feedback, or preliminary data collection. Projects should move beyond describing problems to building and testing real‑world solutions.
Applications are due September 14, 2026.
Catalyst Grant
These competitive internal Catalyst Grants are open to all full‑time School of Education faculty. Awards of up to $5,000 support early‑stage research that tackles a clearly defined “Big Problem” in education—a high‑stakes challenge, gap in knowledge, or societal issue that demands timely solutions. Funds may be used for pilot data collection, student research support, participant incentives, or essential materials. Successful projects show how this initial investment will catalyze a larger, externally funded research program.
