About the contribution

This reflects on a community partnership with Cone Health that saw an exploratory needs assessment of nurses’ affective responses following the aftermath of COVID. The study sought to further understand nurses’ needs in addressing burnout, secondary traumatic stress, moral distress, coping skills, and their mental health outcomes.
