Kervins Clement, a 3rd year doctoral student in the Department of Counseling and Educational Development, received the 2021-2022 Empowerment Scholarship from the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals.
Kervins’ goal is to provide training, outreach, and effective services to individuals who struggle with sexual compulsive behavior. With a goal to evolve the counseling field by educating counselors on culturally responsive approaches to addiction counseling, specific to sex addiction.
