CED student Brittany Gerringer

Brittany Gerringer, 3rd year doctoral student in the Department of Counseling and Educational Development, received the Chi Sigma Iota Excellence in Counseling Research Grant for her proposal entitled: “Training Competent Counselors for EveryBODY: The Impact of a Health at Every Size Training on Weight Bias and Its Relationship to Multicultural Competence.”

This grant will support the Health at Every Size intervention she will provide to master’s students. Chi Sigma Iota is an international  honor society that values excellence in counseling.
