Elijah Little is an Information Science major from Hamlet, N.C., and expects to graduate in May of 2026.

The open-minded and diverse environment encompasses the epitome of community and culture. It allows you to create or renovate yourself into the human you want to be.
What is your favorite place on campus?
Kaplan Center and the EUC building.
What activities and organizations are you involved in on campus?
Im a member of Phi Beta Sigma, Inc., a facility manager at the EUC building, and a member of the Neo-Black Society.
What experience at UNCG has had the most significant impact on you?
Working at the EUC building and meeting new people and learning.
What has been your favorite class and why?
LIS 300 (Introduction to Information Science) is my favorite so far. It opens up a lot of possibilities and pathways to learn from with the major.
What are your career goals?
I plan to be a project manager or analyst in the ecology or business sector.
What made you want to choose a career in Information Science?
I enjoy the intricate details and having the ability to distinguish the data correlations.
What advice would you give a student considering UNCG and the School of Education?
Come as you are and indulge in all available activities and events UNCG has to offer.
