Why Did you Choose UNCG?

Greensboro has always felt like a home away from home to me. I knew I would thrive in this environment.

What is your favorite place on campus?

The SELF Design Studio!

What activities and organizations are you involved in on campus?

The Artist’s Guild.

What experience at UNCG has had the most significant impact on you?

Students and teachers being so welcoming and friendly towards me as a transfer student.

What has been your favorite class and why?

I enjoyed my Intro to Professions in SPED class. It was so refreshing to be with classmates that share the same ideals and goals as me.

What are your career goals?

I hope to be teaching in a self-contained exceptional children’s classroom in a high school setting. Preferably local!

What made you want to choose a career in Education?

I chose a career in special education because I saw people of different abilities getting discriminated against. This job is important because it is not only teaching students, it is teaching everyone around them.

What advice would you give a student considering UNCG and the School of Education?

You deserve greatness! Enjoy every moment and never be afraid to ask for help.
