NC Teach TESOL Program Overview
Program: NC Teach Alternative/Residency Licensure
Designed for: unlicensed teachers who hold a full-time NC teaching position working under a Residency License seeking initial NC teaching licensure in TESOL
Requires: 18 credit hours
Delivered: mix of online courses and 5 in-person meetings per semester
Estimated duration: 3 semesters (usually beginning summer or fall semester)
Application deadline: April 1 (summer); July 1 (fall); December 1 (spring)
Please review program information carefully before submitting an admission application to ensure you are selecting the correct program. If an application is submitted to the wrong program, applicants will incur a reapplication fee when applying to another program.
