U.S. News evaluated schools in the Master’s in Education based on a variety of factors, such as student engagement, faculty credentials, and services and technologies.
Dr. Mogan Chitiyo, Interim Dean of the UNCG School of Education, said, “We are thrilled to continue to be recognized as hosting one of the nation’s premier online Master’s in Education programs. The gains we have made in these rankings are a direct reflection of the work being done by our dedicated faculty members, as well as the students participating in these programs. It is exciting for us to debut in the rankings for special education programs as we feel this is another area where we truly excel. Finally, UNCG has a long history of being welcoming to veterans and we are happy to see the recognition we have received in that area.”
