Featured Image for IPiE Hosts Brown Bag Event about Collaborative Research with School Districts

On Tuesday, February 25th, IPiE hosted a Brown Bag event featuring a panel discussion that brought together research leaders in local school districts and School of Education faculty, staff and graduate students to discuss applying to do research in K-12 schools. The focus of the discussion was to develop a shared understanding of the goals, objectives and restrictions placed on research leaders in K-12 schools and how this can impact goals and objectives of university researchers. Through the conversations, relationships and trust were fostered between the K-12 and university spheres and a desire to pursue greater and clearer communication for all was identified. All involved enjoyed a thorough and informative discussion, followed by cookies and sweet tea.

Thank you to our panelists for taking time out of their busy schedules to be with us.
