    The annual UDL Institute held in August is an opportunity to come together with colleagues to dive into supporting UNCG students through Universal Design for Learning (UDL). The Institute concludes with lunch and a great conversations.

  • New Faculty Orientation (UTLC)

    Offered the week before classes begin each August, generally on Monday, New Faculty Orientation (NFO) is a signature kickoff event. NFO welcomes new faculty and instructors to campus, builds peer networks, and highlights the unique teaching needs of UNCG and our students.

  • Graduate Teaching Associate Orientation

    The Graduate School and the UTLC have partnered to provide Graduate Teaching Associates (GTAs) with a daylong orientation to teaching at UNCG. Offered the Thursday before classes begin in both fall and spring, GTAs will learn about the foundational elements of teaching, accessibility, and student success.
