Preventing suicide is a community effort. It is the responsibility of everyone in the Spartan community to intervene when someone is displaying suicidal behaviors. Engaging in QPR training gives you the skills you need to recognize the signs of suicide and provide support to someone in need. Question Persuade Refer (QPR) is a national training offered to “To save lives and reduce suicidal behaviors by providing innovative, practical and proven suicide prevention training”.
QPR, similar to CPR, provides 3 steps to take to save someone’s life.
