Recognizing New Members of the John H. Cook Society – October 2019

We are honored to thank the following members of the John H. Cook Society, all of whom are making an impact on the lives of others through their gifts to department funds or scholarships:

  • Mr. Thomas L. Armstrong and Mrs. Karen Armstrong, for their continued support of  exceptional past, current, and future teachers through the Inspirational Educators Endowment.
  • Dr. Jean S. Camp,for her continued support of  exceptional past, current, and future teachers through the Inspirational Educators Endowment.
  • Dr. Lillie Matilda Cox, for her support of the School of Education Enrichment Fund, to be used for the greatest needs of the SOE.
  • Mrs. Pat Roos Cross and Mr. Pete Cross, for their continued support of the Patricia Roos Cross Specialized Education Endowment Fund that helps to educate teachers to effectively meet the needs of students with learning differences in the general education classroom.
  • Mrs. Kathy Bland Davis and Mr. Robert Wade Davis,for their continued support of  exceptional past, current, and future teachers through the Inspirational Educators Endowment.
  • Dr. Joshua Goodman, for his support of the Educational Research Methodology Alumni Endowment Fund, supporting professional development, recruitment and retention, travel, and other activities for ERM Students and Faculty.
  • Dr. Daniel Scott Talbert, Judy Blackwelder Talbert & Daniel Scott Taleber Teacher Education Scholarship, supporting NC students who plan to become educators.
  • Dr. Mary Arnold Williamson, for her support of the School of Education Enrichment Fund, to be used for the greatest needs of the SOE.
