Dr. Morgan Chitiyo, the chair of UNC Greensboro’s Department of Specialized Education Services (SES), will be a keynote speaker at the 2022 South Africa International Conference on Education (SAICEd). The conference will be held in October in Pretoria, South Africa.

The conference is organized by the African Academic Research Forum, an organism that brings together academics, researchers, and institutions to deliberate, network and present a wide range of perspectives, scholarship, and expertise in the pursuit of excellence in education. This year’s conference theme is “Rethinking Teaching and Learning in the New Normal.”

Chitiyo has led UNCG’s SES department since 2020 and was selected as the new editor of the Journal of International Special Needs Education (JISNE) earlier this year.
