John H. Cook Champions for Education

As we enter into a new year, one where the School of Education has a clear mission to work to end educational inequity, we have updated the name of the program we established to honor our champions – donors making annual gifts of $1,000 and more to the SOE. The John H. Cook Society will now be known as the “John H. Cook Champions for Education.” While this name continues to recognize the extraordinary and innovative leadership of the first Dean of the School of Education, it also acknowledges our champions who make the work we do possible as well as the intention for their support.

We’re also excited about the new “look” for our Cook Champions. The logo sports UNC Greensboro’s official blue and gold, and the signature at the top is really John H. Cook’s! Thank you to our Library and Information Science alumni in Jackson Library for their archival research.
