The nationally ranked UNC Greensboro School of Education offers both undergraduate and graduate programs. Our students learn from world-class experts and national leaders in their field. From student teaching and internships, to research and publications, students have the opportunity to have hands-on experience before graduating. Students do all of this while being supported along the way – including with access to scholarships, graduate assistantships, advising, and tutoring services.

Developing the Next Generation of Teachers
The UNC Greensboro School of Education is committed to preparing the most-qualified teachers possible. Students can choose from a variety of degree programs, including special education, elementary education, middle grades education, or secondary education. We also offer a dual elementary and special education degree.
Committed to the Success of our Students
Fulfilling a desire from our undergraduate students for further tools to help them be successful, the Academic Support Hub provides additional supports for School of Education students by offering tutoring services in a variety of areas. Students can obtain extra assistance in ASL, Math 112, CSC 120, and in preparing for Praxis exams.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN INTERPRETING, DEAF EDUCATION, AND ADVOCACY (IDEAS)
The Interpreting, Deaf Education, and Advocacy Services (IDEAS) major provides opportunities for study in three concentrations: Advocacy and Services for the Deaf; K–12 Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher Licensure; and Interpreter Preparation.

Master of School Administration
Students engage the content of leadership preparation through graduate classroom engagement and assignments, observing schools and school leaders in their practice, and performing tasks under the supervision of a school-based and university mentor during the internship. This program is only offered online.
