Current Library and Information Studies student Terah Kelleher was just named recipient of the Mertys Bell Scholarship from the North Carolina Community College Library Association. This is a $500 scholarship awarded to a library student working toward an associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in the library and information studies field. Terah is a proud graduate of Guilford Technical Community College.

Jarrian Jefferson (’14) recently accepted a position as Digital Learning and Outreach Librarian at the State University of New York College of Technology at Canton (SUNY Canton).

Mendy Ozan (’11) has taken a new position at the Levine Cancer Institute. Mendy will be working on a consumer health education web-based library at the Institute.

Amanda Click (’08) and Claire Walker are co-authors with Meggan Houlihan of an article entitled, “The Internationalization of the Academic Library: A Systematic Review of 25 Years of Literature on International Students”, in March 2017 College & Research Libraries, vol. 78, no. 3, p. 328-358, doi:10.5860/crl.78.3.328.
