SUMMARY:UNCG CED Presents: A Workshop with Dr. Stacey Diane A. Litam | Unlearning Generational Trauma Scripts
DESCRIPTION:Each of us carries generational trauma scripts and limiting beliefs that can shape our relationships\, productivity\, and scholarship—and contribute to burnout and compassion fatigue in academia. In this powerful workshop\, Dr. Stacey Litam shares how confronting her own intergenerational stories and cultural scripts empowered her advocacy for the Asian American community in the wake of COVID-19. Through her journey\, attendees will be invited to reflect on their own internalized narratives and explore strength-based strategies to challenge limiting beliefs and foster resilience—especially within epistemically excluded communities. \n\n\n\n*This workshop qualifies for 1.5 hours of continuing education credit.*This workshop is free for UNCG CED students\, faculty\, staff\, and site supervisors. If you are a UNCG CED student\, faculty\, staff\, or site supervisor\, please contact Dr. Christian Chan at cdchan@uncg.edu for specific instructions regarding registration. \n\n\n\n\nRegistration is Required
