Biography
Several leadership roles reflect Mr. Parker’s service in the field of Sign Language Interpretation, include serving as the lead interpreter for President Bill Clinton’s Inauguration, and the National Democratic Convention in Charlotte in 2012 and has interpreted numerous theatrical productions across the country. At UNCG Mr. Parker serves on the School of Education Faculty Council and is the School of Education Faculty Assembly Chair and coordinates the Professions in Deafness program. He teaches American Sign Language levels 3 and 4 and sign language interpreting courses in the Department of Specialized Education Services. Mr. Parker also serves on multiple doctoral committees.
