Biography
Teaching, research and service are highly integrated for Julie Hersberger who explores social networks as information networks. Hersberger’s research focuses on persons experiencing homelessness and their information environments while improving their access to information. She educates students to observe information users and develop products for diverse groups and individuals. Hersberger has applied her work as a volunteer at the Interactive Resource Center in aiding homeless guests in finding and using information.
