Several leadership roles reflect Dr. Hardin’s research and service in improving international inclusive early care and education, including serving on the Board of Directors of the Association of Childhood Education International (ACEI) and Chairing the ACEI Global Guidelines Task Force. Currently, Dr. Hardin serves on the ECDtf of the Global Partnerships on Children with Disabilities led by UNICEF and the Measuring Early Learning Quality and Outcomes (MELQO) Technical Assistance Group led by UNESCO and The Brookings Institute, both of which are global initiatives aimed to improve access and quality of early care and education services. At UNCG, Dr. Hardin teaches in Birth-Kindergarten undergraduate and graduate programs and the SES Doctoral program.
