Last Call – SOE Service Project
The UNCG School of Education Staff Assembly has selected Murphey Traditional Academy as its service project for the 2012 holiday season.
We will be collecting items to fill backpacks for their students in need to take home over the holidays. Donations from the list of needed items (or cash donations) may be made to any School of Education department administrator. If you would like to participate, please make your sign-up selection below. The deadline for actually delivering your donation to the SOE is December 14, 2012.

Competing against 15 other groups from around the world, many 10 years their senior, Unit Three, secured the title of Best Band in the Competition. They are set to release their debut album on Monday, December 10 at the Presbyterian Church of the Covenant in Greensboro at 7:30pm.

We hope you will join us for this special evening!
SOE faculty and staff, please make sure to turn off all of your personal lamps and under light task lamps when you are leaving your offices for the end of the day. If your office is located on the first floor, please make sure to shut your window blinds when you leave for the day.
As the holiday season approaches please remember to lock all offices and labs.
Building Temperature Change Over Holiday Break
Please be aware that from Saturday, December 22 through January 2, the internal heating system will be turned down throughout all buildings on campus in an effort to conserve energy. If you are intending to work on campus throughout this time, please be prepared for a significant temperature change during this time. When heating is restored on January 2, it may take up to two days for the building temperature to return to regular settings, so please plan accordingly.
SOE International Student Group Now on Facebook!
Thank you for joining us at the School of Education International Student Social! Many international students, scholars, faculty, and staff had the opportunity to meet each other and shared great ideas on how we can further network and support all SOE international students and scholars. As the result of our social, we have started a Facebook group so that we will have a place to connect, share questions, resources, events, activities, etc. Please join us on Facebook at “UNCG SOE International Student Group“.
