International Programs Center is the central point of contact for all the University’s international activities. It offers support for international students, visiting scholars, and students interested in studying abroad. Please make sure you contact the International Programs Center at UNCG if you are interested in applying for programs at UNCG as an international student.
INTERLINK provides intensive English language learning, cultural programming, and academic preparation to help you transition to UNCG. If you are interested in helping other international students enhancing their English language proficiency, you may also be interested in their Conversation Partners Program.
The University Writing Center is staffed with English consultants to assist you with writing your research papers and other academic assignments.
The University Speaking Center provides consultation support and instructional workshop services to help you further develop your own oral communication confidence and competence in public speaking preparation and delivery, interpersonal communication, and group or team communication.
Coalition of Diverse Language Communities (CDLC) aims to be a catalyst for innovative, relevant, collaborative and policy-related research, leveraging the synergy and knowledge of faculty, staff, students, and communities locally, nationally, and globally. It promotes innovative, relevant, and collaborative work in the areas of community-engaged research, outreach and advocacy, policy work, and professional development. CDLC organizes regular brown bag series and events focusing on educational topics concerning diverse language communities.

The Instructional Technology Office supports faculty and staff effectively integrate technology in teaching and learning. It provides technology professional development opportunities, provides expert advice and development services, and researches emerging technologies to provide current recommendations. It also manages the SOE Online Learning Help Desk to provide faculty and students with ongoing online support.
Office of Student Services (OSS) provides advising services, online modules, and workshops to assist teacher candidates understand the various academic options and resources available within the School of Education and the University campus. It assists students with making education plans that are consistent with their goals, abilities, and interests, offers recommendations and strategies for academic success, and refers students to appropriate campus offices and resources.
Office of Assessment, Evaluation and Research Services (OAERS) offers exceptional consulting services and technical resources in the areas of assessment, program evaluation, and data analysis to individuals and organizations in the Piedmont Triad, North Carolina, and beyond. It delivers valuable research and evaluation support to organizations while providing a rich training ground for the next generation of leaders in the fields of assessment, program evaluation, and data analysis.
Teaching Resource Center (TRC) provides instructional materials, equipment, and services that support the students, faculty, and staff of the UNCG School of Education as well as teachers in the Triad community. The TRC serves as a model school library media center, offering a large collection of Pre-K-12 picture books, young adult fiction, nonfiction books, audiobooks, board books, big books, kits, manipulatives and DVD’s. The TRC provides equipment for use and check-out to School of Education members. Equipment available includes: Laptops, Data Projectors, IPads, Digital Cameras, Digital Video Cameras, Flip Video Cameras, Tripods, Digital Voice Recorders, Headsets with Mics, Garmin Handheld GPS Units, Nooks and Kindles, Ellison Die-Cut Machine, Laminators, Book Binder, and Printer/Scanner/Copier.
